Universe cards typically add bonuses to attacks, or can act as an attack itself.
Each universe card has a requirement to be used stated on the card.
There are several types of universe cards: Teamwork, Basic, Training, and Ally.
Below you will find a brief description of each, along with pictures for examples.
TEAMWORK
Teamwork universe cards are the most popular of all universe cards. They require at least 2 people on your team to play. The first attack acts as a level 6 attack, and either 1 or 2 additional attacks by a teammate may be made with an added bonus to each.
BASIC
Basic universe cards work in conjunction with power cards of all 4 types (energy, fighting, strength, & intellect). They add either a +1, +2, or +3 bonus to the value of the power card, and each character is required to have a 6, 7, or 8 rating in each of the power types to use. Typically, only basic universe cards with a value of +3 are used in decks.
TRAINING
Training universe cards act much like basic universe cards do, the only exceptions being that they require a rating of 5 or less in each power type listed to use, and the bonuses are either +3 or +4.
ALLY
Ally universe cards are used as an attack, and are used to help chain attacks together between other characters on the team. For instance, one player will play the ally card as an attack, then one of their teammates’ must play a special card immediately after. They are available in all 4 power types (energy, fighting, strength, & intellect). Each attack value is different depending on the requirement for use.
